Union approves deal with GM to cut labor costs
Union approves deal with GM to cut labor costs
Pact could help GM's expected bankruptcy filing move through court quickly!
Good Article - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30996124/?from=ET
Creative Conclusion:
America don't we think this is just a little late? Why didn't the unions do something sooner to save the jobs of these individuals.....Can the union really save them. Me personally "No, they can't" they should have done something back in October or sooner to try and save them and their people an embarrassing moment which has come later then we expected.
Unions are good for collecting dues and that is all, they make themselves richer and stronger....not their workers.

Campus Guns Bill Passes Senate
Campus Guns Bill Passes Senate
POSTED: Wednesday, May 20, 2009
AUSTIN -- Texas concealed handgun license holders could carry weapons into public college classrooms and dorms under a bill that has cleared the Texas Senate.
But in a last-minute change, the legislation exempts teaching hospitals run by institutions of higher education.
The bill passed 20-11 Wednesday and now heads to the Texas House. Supporters say the bill reinforces the constitutional right to bear arms and could prevent mass murders such as the 2007 shootings at Virginia Tech. Opponents say it would make campuses more dangerous.
------
The guns on campus bill is SB1164.
Creative Conclusion:
Good Job Texas!

Okay America isn't Japan doing this already?
Creative Conclusion;
I say why don't we just better the mileage that the government has issued as the standard! Let's say we go one step forward, say 50 to 60 mpg on all cars by 2014. You know we can do it since it has been done already by the Japanese. We need to take back the auto industry and get it going again here in America, we need to buy American already. I can confess I have one Japanese car (Scion) and one American made (Truck GMC) my first ever truck, I like it the truck but, would love to get better gas mileage wouldn't you? So I say let's get it started right here right now America!

Florida Grandma pulls gun on car full of youngsters
Florida Grandma pulls gun on car full of youngsters
Article - http://www.wptv.com/mostpopular/story/Grandma-pulls-gun-on-car-full-of-youngsters/hZm-k1pWS0ixXUUO6c4FuQ.cspx
America, let's give Grandma a hand, seems some people don't understand that everyone is starting to protect themselves and the things they own. So watch out for anyone over 50 driving a car you may think in an easy target to harass! You just may find out that a 9MM Glock would be in your face or in your A**! Go Grandma!
Creative Conclusion:
This is for the idiots that don't watch the news and have no idea about gun sales and ammo sales. If you haven't heard people of all ages (50 to 90) are buying guns or own guns to protect themselves from young whipper snappers! I live in Texas and everyone owns a gun period. You may not like it but it is the truth. The best things in life are Beer, Guns and ex-wife's all from Texas!
have a great weekend and for those of you under 50, look out for Grandma's and Glocks!

A budget cure: Marijuana taxes?
A budget cure: Marijuana taxes?
In this desperate economy, some argue that legalizing and taxing marijuana could plug multibillion-dollar holes in federal and state coffers.
Good article http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/StockInvestingTrading/a-budget-cure-marijuana-taxes.aspx?gt1=33002
America;
There has been allot of talk about legalizing Marijuana, states are looking at the taxes they could get from selling to the public. Would you be in favor of this? Tell us what you think.
Creative Conclusion;
I don't see anything wrong with legalizing Marijuana, Have you ever seen the movie Saving Grace with Brenda Blethyn and Craig Ferguson. If you haven't I suggest you get it and watch it, talk about funny I couldn't stop laughing a must see movie in regards to having a love one die and leave you a ton of bills with no money to pay off the dept! The movie reminds me of what life was like when I was a child, we had no cares and loved to party everyday, weekend or any spare time we had. So America if Marijuana is legalized bring it on, I know I would buy it.
