America here is what I don't understand;
When I was younger America helped the Shaw of Iran right? What are we going to do for Karzi and what for? We have lost many American Soldiers fighting for our freedom yes, we have spent Billions re-building Europe, Yes? We are having a hard time finding Osama right? So why should America still sacrifice it's self for Karzi, should he be doing more?

My wife always gives me the "harry eye-ball" when I say " Let's just make a parking lot out of these countries and move on!" or " Why don't we pull out our forces and watch from the borders, when someone wins we move in and help them out already!"
Understanding that either of these can really be done, we just have to hope for the best and keep backing our forces, "Did you hear that Mr. President?" Keep backing our forces?

In Florida, at least one county clerk's office is offering a one-day wedding special for $99.99. The rarity of this Sept. 9 hasn't been lost on the creators of the iPod, who have moved their traditional Tuesday release day to Wednesday to take advantage of the special date. Focus Features is releasing their new film "9," an animated tale about the apocalypse, on the 9th.
Not only does the date look good in marketing promotions, but it also represents the last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we'll see for almost a century (until January 1, 2101), or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it.
Though technically there's nothing special about the symmetrical date, some concerned with the history and meaning of numbers ascribe powerful significance to 09/09/09. For cultures in which the number nine is lucky, Sept. 9 is anticipated - while others might see the date as an ominous warning.Math magic
Modern numerologists - who operate outside the realm of real science - believe that mystical significance or vibrations can be assigned to each numeral one through nine, and different combinations of the digits produce tangible results in life depending on their application.

The imperial dynasties were so convinced of the power of the number nine that the palace complex at Beijing's Forbidden City is rumored to have been built with 9,999 rooms.
Japanese emperors would have never worn a robe with nine dragons, however.

THE JOB - URINE TEST

Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!
Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don ' t have to pass a urine test. So, here is my Question:
Shouldn ' t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass - doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?
I guess we could title that program, ' Urine or You ' re Out ' .
Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don ' t. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Some thing has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!

America, I for one like to see this pass but, make sure that every licensed concealed gun owner know the laws of that state. My brother has a business with concealment goods and does sell information about the different laws for carrying a concealed weapon from state to state. People need to know the rules of each state this information is critical for them and the individuals around them. So for me personally I like this being passed as long as everyone knows and understands the laws of each state.

Sarah Palin would no doubt be horrified by the idea, but there’s a chance she could become the same boon to David Letterman’s career that Hugh Grant was to Jay Leno’s.

Gas Going Up For No Reason!
America is it me or is the price of gas up about 30 to 40 cents a gallon? Am I imagining this or are we just letting it happen again? Before Memorial Day we heard they were changing the gas to the summer mix and it would go down in about 3 weeks, how much is it going to go up before it begins to fall? $2.89 a gallon and then come down to $2.25 a gallon and stay there until winter?
If anyone out there has an answer please let us in on it because we are not going to hear from anyone in the news over the next few days or months.

With car companies filing don't you think that the gasoline companies would think before raising the price of gas? Or are they thinking we as Americans don't care and will drive anyway? Think they are making a fool of us? I do, not one word about the price in the news local or national news other than gas went up today due to the oil rising in price for a barrel! I don't think the oil companies or gas companies will be filing for Bankruptcy anytime soon, but one day when we have alternative energy they will and you know what I will be laughing then......how about you?

But in a last-minute change, the legislation exempts teaching hospitals run by institutions of higher education.
The bill passed 20-11 Wednesday and now heads to the Texas House. Supporters say the bill reinforces the constitutional right to bear arms and could prevent mass murders such as the 2007 shootings at Virginia Tech. Opponents say it would make campuses more dangerous.

I say why don't we just better the mileage that the government has issued as the standard! Let's say we go one step forward, say 50 to 60 mpg on all cars by 2014. You know we can do it since it has been done already by the Japanese. We need to take back the auto industry and get it going again here in America, we need to buy American already. I can confess I have one Japanese car (Scion) and one American made (Truck GMC) my first ever truck, I like it the truck but, would love to get better gas mileage wouldn't you? America why do we need automatic weapons? Are we all a bad shot or are we all just wanting something to make us feel good about owning a gun that won't miss something, when pointed at it! Close you eyes and pull the trigger and walla target gone! I can see why we need a ban on weapons that are being sold by the bad guys not the good guys.
Here is what I mean by good guys and bad guys America.
Say a person on the street walks up to your kid and says do you want to buy a gun that will kick your A**? This is the bad guy, someone who wants to make a quick buck off of the kids these days.
Say you are at your local gun show walking around and seeing all the guns the media keeps talking about as assault weapons! I would say they need to see how these guns at these shows are really purchased. They need to buy a gun and see what takes place before saying we need to ban these weapons.

America let's take care of the bad guys and let the good guys earn a living already. People trying to take advantage of all the publicity going on today about guns needs to understand that people go to gun shows for the hobby, if this was say a craft show would there be so much news out there today? Not A Christan, Jewish or Muslim State
America, The President hit it on the head when he said: We are not a Jewish State, Christan State or Muslim State" But we are the United States Of America.
People in America have issues with what he said, but he is right we are not just one state we are a nation of all. We are the example for the world that even though we have differences in religion we have differences in the way we were raised.
I for one didn't know any other religion other than 2, Jewish and Catholic. Was I wrong until I moved South then I realized, we as a nation have so many more religions than just being Jewish and Catholic.
So a very simple Creative Conclusion;
The world needs to take note that even though we may at times have our own differences when it comes to religion and politics, we the people come together when ever there is a problem in the country or the world and we lead every other nation in the right direction. Let's bail-out America by giving everyone over 50 a million dollars! But set some rules to it like they must buy an American car, pay off there House or buy a new house. Retire form their job!
Actually by doing just these three things they will:
1. Open up the mortgage companies and allow them to make new loans on younger individuals.
2. Help the auto makers back on there feet.
3. Create 40 million new jobs or more!

That's how the president's top economic adviser, Larry Summers, on Friday described the burden of worries about the shrinking jobs market, rising foreclosures and falling wages afflicting Americans. The cycle of fear must be broken, he said, before the recovery can begin.
"It is this transition from an excess of greed to an excess of fear that President Roosevelt had in mind when he famously observed that the only thing we had to fear was fear itself," Summers said.
"There are a lot of individual families who are experiencing incredible pain and hardship right now," Obama said.
Summers acknowledged that huge sums are being borrowed by the U.S. government to support recovery efforts. And while things should get better under Obama's programs, things could also get worse "if deflation sets in, if GDP (gross domestic product) collapses further," Summers said.
"If that happens, the magnitude of the federal borrowing, as large as it is, will be dwarfed. It will be far, far larger."

America, here is a person who thinks he can do better than any President we have had in the last 40 years! Rush, do you want to fail? I think you are scared of what will happen to the Republican party if they keep doing what they are doing.......Looks like a cartoon happening before the Americans eyes.
1. Democrats elect an African American to office, GOP elects an African American to the Head the RNC!
2. President Obama gives first speech to both Houses, Republicans counter with an India Governor From Louisiana!
3. Steel the RNC chairman says something against the great Rush on CNN, then apologizes for his action against Rush.
4. Rush speaks up at a conservative convention and gets noticed again on T.V. for what he says against the President.
5. Rush decides he is the King of the World and doesn't care what people think he just wants drugs in all schools, Parents on drugs along with the kids. This way no one will care what happens to America, they will all be high like Rush.............is everyday!

America, Who is this Rush guy anyways? I remember the Rush of old, this new guy dresses like Rush and even sounds like Rush but he has the heart of a man who doesn't know what to do so he is trying to hold the market's down because people listen to Rush only they don't understand why!

America are they real?
America, I was just sitting here thinking are all these people really being laid off or are we just stretching the number? Here is why I ask this question.
After listening to a senator tell us if President Obama decides to scrap the Air force budget for this new jet, which I may add has never been tested in action as of yet, it would leave a 100,000 workers out of a job! Well it turns out at the most there is around 8,000 people working on this project and if they lose the contract these 8,000 workers will be reassigned to a different project.
So America is Morgan Stanley really going to lay-off another 2,000 workers or are they just playing the numbers game, is GM playing the numbers game and are our banks playing the numbers game. In reality they are all making money but laying off people who don't exists?
I want you to think about that, are companies paying people who don't exists on their pay rolls, are they inflating their budgets because they were able to do so before and not report it?
I mean all of a sudden we have all these companies coming out and saying we need to lay off 25% of our staff, give a figure and then next month say well business is bad and we need to lay off another 25%, who are these people, do they really exists?

Could big business finally have to come clean? Did you hear anything about Exxon taking a cut or laying off 25% of it's people because they aren't making a profit! Why is America all of a sudden drowning in their own debt. Was this planned? Could someone be paid to make this happen? Or are we really going through this? Please wake me up am I dreaming? If companies are doing this and making up these figures just to gain a dollar from the American people wouldn't this be the biggest scam big business pulled off in years?
All I can say is "Show me the Money!" so I can benefit from this also. Just do us all a favor and wipe out our debt, clear our credit cards, mortgage, car debt and what ever else we owe and let us start over again with a clean slate..............BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

His speech was an outline of the way he is going to head this Congress in the right direction. I also noticed that the stock market today is down, I don't understand why the market wants to hear " Show me the money" because they are the ones that are losing your money. I understand one thing and that is when the election comes around for local Representatives I am NOT going to vote for a Republican ever again, they don't want to see President Obama succeed, all they want to do is sit on their "Asses" and say we don't want your money......again Republicans get with the program or you may find yourselves out of a job.

Republican Governor's?
Okay America, I don't understand this at all.....Some of the Governor's across America that are Republican are refusing the stimulus money offered by the government to help their state improve on jobs? Refusing Teacher money, refusing Government money to improve roads, just flat out refusing to take anything.......
I would call this a joke, because if our Governor (who is Republican) refuses to get the help it needs from the people then that governor should not be holding the office. Since when is it "by the Governor, For the Governor?

Okay America here is a thought about the housing market. In the above article there are stories from back in 2007.
In early 2007, as overextended borrowers began to default on too-good-to-be-true sub prime mortgages housing experts sounded an alarm heard throughout Washington. Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.), chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, wanted to push a bill requiring banks to modify loans whose enticingly low "teaser" interest rates soon give way to tougher terms. But he knew that with Republicans strongly opposed, he lacked the muscle, according to Senate aides. So Dodd did what politicians often do. He convened a talkfest: the Homeownership Preservation Summit.
A who's who of banking executives gathered on Apr. 18, 2007, behind closed doors in an ornate hearing room in the marble-faced Dirksen Senate Office Building. Dodd told them they needed to get out in front of the foreclosure fiasco by adjusting loan terms so borrowers would continue to make some payments, rather than stopping altogether. Foreclosure proceedings typically cost banks about 50% of a property's value. That's assuming the home can be resold -- not a certainty when empty houses multiply in a neighborhood. "What are you doing?" Dodd asked the executives. "What do you need me to do to help you modify loans?"
Some from the industry denied a foreclosure problem existed, including Sandor E. Samuels, at the time chief legal officer of sub prime giant Countrywide Financial. They vowed to continue selling loans with enticing introductory rates as well as those requiring minimal evidence of borrowers' income. "We are going to keep making these loans until the last second they are legal," Samuels later told a fellow participant.

So these individuals are saving their money like she said 6 months worth, getting foreclosed on and then getting a friend or another family member to buy a new house with the money they saved.....What is wrong with this picture America? Congratulations United Airlines for finally realizing that people who live in America want to speak to an American when making a complaint, reservation, or getting information on their bank account. I hope everyone else who uses an India phone company to do there job will send the jobs back to America where they belong because in the long run America does everything right.

Gas Prices Going Up?
Why gas prices will soar again.
Remember how outraged we were when oil soared and oil companies posted record profits? It will happen again. Cash in on it this time around.

The only thing that bothers me is why is gas up over $1.70 today when oil is below $45 a barrel? No one knows and no one will tell us why? At least the price of coffee is still higher than a gallon of gas!

Okay I watched some of the speech the President gave last night and he sounded like he was addressing both parties (Republicans and Democrats) to get going on this stimulus package.
Sounded like the President was scolding both The House and Senate, good for him.
America we need to come together and quite bickering on who's right and who's wrong, Republicans did this, Democrats did this, yaty, yaty, yaty!

Stimulus Package Or Pork?
All I have seen in the news today is Pork, Pork and more Pork? Could America be going to the pigs? No pun, just had to say it.
Well America looks like the Republicans and Democrats are trying to beef up the pork in the stimulus package. (I must have food on my mind) We need to get down to business people, we don't need to raise the stimulus package we need to define each dollar and where it is going. Every American wants to know where our money is going. We are tired of paying CEO's bonuses and employees on Wall Street bonuses, heck $109,000 in bonuses on the average was paid to wall street employees. THAT IS TOO MUCH!
I don't know about you but, I am getting fed up hearing about the waste from the first $350 billion we gave what's his name? He gave all of it to banks and all they did was buy other banks, gave to wall street and they gave bonuses, he gave nothing to the American people and they are filing foreclosures left and right!

I AM MAD AMERICA HOW ABOUT YOU?
We the American people could find justice for the failure of the first $350 Billion by taking the old Treasury Secretary to court and try him for spending beyond his means, someone has got to answer for this spending and America I think it is about time someone takes action. We could take him to court and make sure if we suffer he will suffer behind bars, or did he cut himself a deal with the banks and get his money from them? Who will take action America?

Here is a question for you, is there something you and your venting process missing? Could it be taxes? Back taxes? Mr. President you need to make sure that in the first month of business the American people are wondering how many more individuals in Washington D.C. aren't paying taxes......
Could there be a reason some of these individuals don't pay taxes, could they think they are above the law? I haven't seen any of them take the time to come out and stand up to what they did. Does this mean anyone who hasn't paid taxes just needs to apologize to the American people and leave the lime light? I just don't understand, these individuals are leaving because they understand they have violated a top standard in America.

Does America need to get involved in Washington D.C. and get to the bottom of everyone who makes more then $100,000 a year? Seems they do not pay taxes, or did the past government look the other way? I know this, if I didn't pay my taxes and then remembered, oh wait let me take care of that bill you keep sending me! IRS, who is that?

Looks like the media is looking the other way but, America is watching what is being done to those who either waited years to pay back taxes. What if I decided to wait and not pay my taxes? Of course this would never happen because I am not working for the government and I don't vote to raise my salary every year! But who cares........right! Well the American people care because we have to pay the taxes back that some individuals just don't want to contribute at the time of the notice given from the IRS. Look, it is very simple have everyone in Washington D.C. working for the government step up and pay those back taxes and there goes a big chunk of the American deficit. So in the first 100 days get the money back from those who still owe the American people money. Then work on the stimulas package, you may only need a few bucks in stead of billions.

Spanish Company to Build Private Tollroad
I'm Mad America!
I just don't understand why we do things before thinking things out, what is wrong with this picture?

First off why are we using a Spanish company when all i heard during the election "use it or lose it!" Is this the right company, to be honest Texas who ever built the high five should be doing all the road construction in Texas period, they were under budget and were done before the schedule time given to do the project. HELLO I would use them every time we needed to do road construction in Texas. Get real people.
Secondly why are you charging $1.20 to go 13 miles and up to $6.50 in some cases? To top it off you are going to let this company have the fees for the next 52 years! Holy Crap!
Who in the world is minding the money, would you like to buy some land in Florida?

The Texas Department of Transportation needs to step back and look this over again, don't say the gas tax is not enough because, if that is the case then you need to go to Las Colinas and knock on Exxon's door and ask for more money, because we all know who has the money....

More than 2 million people in the U.S. are pathological gamblers, according to Keith Whyte, executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling in Washington, D.C. Between nearly 5 million and 7 million more adult have serious gambling problems, and perhaps 15 million more are at risk.
Are you a problem gambler?
Here are 20 common questions used to assess problem gambling behaviors. Most compulsive gamblers will answer yes to at least seven of these questions.

Stimulus plan
The plan
President Barack Obama's expansive and expensive plan to jump-start the economy is expected to clear its first hurdle on Wednesday when the Democratic-controlled House votes on a $825 billion version that melds new spending and tax cuts.
The economic stimulus plan, first unveiled on Jan. 15 by Obama and House Democrats, strongly emphasizes energy, education, health care and jobs-producing highway construction. The House version of the legislation calls for federal spending of about $604 billion and tax cuts of $212 billion over the next two years, though these figures are likely to change.
The House and Senate versions of the stimulus plan haven’t been reconciled by negotiators from the two bodies, so the bill that will go to the president’s desk is not in its final form.
Congressional leaders have promised Obama they will send him the measure, which could be the single largest bill ever to go through Congress, by mid-February.

Big U.S. companies announce massive job cuts
A slew of American heavyweight companies, including Caterpillar, Pfizer, Sprint Nextel, Home Depot and General Motors, announced thousands of job cuts Monday. What's more, a group of business economists predicted many more job losses in the year ahead.

Okay America let's not panic, these companies are cutting back because like all good companies they grew to fast, with the exception on General motors, they have been around long enough to make the cuts it needs to. One thing they need to do is quite giving retired people a raise!
Home depot is making a good move, when the housing market was booming the Expo was a great place for builders to send their clients to and pick out expensive merchandise, instead of just buying it directly from Home Depot.
Pfizer, must be getting ready not to receive all that money from the government, someone must have caught on?
Sprint, you bought up a competitor so you are using that to rectify your over head expenses.
Caterpillar, building new homes and business is down and construction is down all over but, road construction is big, so your profits are good but you just have to much over head on people. Understandable.

All business need to take a look at themselves and make those cuts needed to move forward and start making a product that will save the consumer money and save the manufacture money. But get America back on track in the world, what I mean by that is America has always been number one in the world not so anymore, it seems that other countries are good at making a cheaper better product and then make the U.S. import it! Why America? Why can't we do it again, we need to get off the high horse and begin doing things again, simple and start flooding the world market with our products not other country products cutting corners. And while I'm at it bring back those jobs we lost to India, I think there are enough Americans out of work to handle the call volume and we may even understand who we are talking too!

2nd Amendment in Wisconsin
Okay America here is one for the books, I just happened to be listening to Lou Dobbs this evening on CNN and he said this is going to seem strange to some people.
There is a man serving a 30 month sentence for owning an AR gun which misfired, what is strange is the courts convicted the man not because the gun wasn't registered but because the gun misfired and was considered by law a "Machine Gun!" Here is why; The gun has a magazine that fires more then one bullet when pulling the trigger. If the gun was a single shot it would not be considered a machine gun by law! This man has been in the Armed forces and served his country. At the time of his arrest he was in the local National Guard, Hello! This is just not right period, this man has a wife kids Mom and Dad, he has served 7 months of his 30 month sentence. The NRA is not involved but, Guns for America is helping him with legal aid, my hats off to them.

What is this country coming too? Do we need to send a man to jail because he owns a gun that he knows how to use and was trained by our military to use it! Come on America get involved.
The 2nd Amendment allows Americans to bare arms.
Here is what needs to be done America:
1. Let the man go home.
2. Change the law to state correctly what a machine gun is, not any automatic weapon should be considered a machine gun.
3. Apologize to the man give him back what he had before his arrest, clean his record, give him his job back and family back.

5. Keep making good cheese.

A New Day, A New President
Well America, today January 20, 2009 marks the start of the new President of the United States. What will take place on his first day in office beginning January 21, 2009, President Obama will begin his new quest by getting information to the American people about the money spent where it went and how he will start to change things in Washington D.C.
Could we see more of the people at work contacting their Senators and Congress representatives and begin giving Obama the right to direct the American people. Or will we see the old Senators and Congress like we have seen the last 8 years? I hope not.
Creative Conclusion:
For today let all of us enjoy the day and the evening events as they make way for a long, long, start to the new President.
So please everyone have fun but, remember tomorrow will be a working day. The very first day of a new America! Watch out World we're back!

We The People (Your Boss)
President Bush addressed the nation last night for the last and final time, thank god! So every time he spoke he sent the markets south, or when he appeared on T.V. in the rose garden he sent the markets south, when he was out and about he sent the markets south. So in reality Bush sent the market south. Today January 16, 2009 the market is heading north, could it be that we are not going to hear from Bush again and are able to cope with the out come of the Elections back in November, God I hope so!
I am looking forward to the new President of this great nation to listen to the people and do as they request. Answer us with the truth, don't wait until you leave office and try and win us over, do it from the beginning, please.
Congress you all need to take a pay cut just like everyone in the U.S.A. has to save the economy, a 20% or 30% pay cut won't hurt you.
Federal Employees all need to take a pay cut also 10% to 20% pay cut.
How about every government employee no matter who you are take a 5% to 10% pay cut and help this great nation.

We the people (your boss) are asking you to consider saving this country from the economical down turn it has taken.
We the people (your boss) are asking you to tell us why gas has gone up from the $1.39 per gallon price, less than 2 weeks ago to $1.75 a gallon, WHAT CHANGED? The price of Oil is down so where is the demand? Who's pocket are we filling this time?
We the People (your boss) are expecting you, the government, to pay us back on the $700 Billion we approved for you to bail out the market and banks......all I really see is banks buying other banks.....is this what you are using our money for, shame on you.
We the people (your boss) are asking for help and all we are seeing is a waste of our money. Who can answer and tell us once and for all where the money went, who's pocket did it line?
